We’re well into the new year now and things in the blockchain world are moving at break-neck speed as always. In this post we aim to bring you up to speed on what’s been happening here at Labrys and provide a look into what’s on our horizon.
As always our focus has been to drive the adoption of blockchain technologies by employing some of the best blockchain talent and creating great software and user experiences for our clients.
Our top blockchain developers have recently completed the integration of Trezor Hardware Wallets with NEM’s recently upgraded blockchain protocol, Symbol (codenamed Catapult).
The project was completed in 12 weeks and included the serialisation of all transaction types on the NEM blockchain. The planned upgrade is currently in developer preview, but once launched, all cryptocurrency held in the desktop wallet will be able to be secured with Trezor Hardware, thanks to Labrys engineers.
We’re proud to work with NEM on this project and look forward to a strong collaborative relationship going forward.
