We are delighted to announce that Citadel.one has officially joined the Ontology Global Community Contributor (GCC) network, a program geared towards accelerating the process of applying blockchain technology to tangible business use-cases.
Citadel.one is an all-in-one interface for decentralized finance (DeFI) that allows users to participate in DPoS consensus, an implementation where all stakeholders receive rewards depending on the degree of contribution. The platform also allows users to create native public addresses for all supported networks with one seed phrase. On top of that, by allowing users to link their hardware devices like Trezor or Ledger, Citadel.one is able to support users with a built-in dashboard including features such as portfolio overview, charts analytics, rewards history, transaction history and status tracking.
The Ontology Foundation will provide an allocation of ONT tokens on the Citadel.one node as a result of this partnership in order for Citadel.one to start its node on the GCC program.
The Citadel team is committed to contribute in building the decentralized infrastructure of our world. This is exemplified by their smart-voting system, which allows users to participate in the lives of the community through creating polls and tracking data. Citadel.one also allows users to track their assets across multiple networks, incorporating proper reward calculation and useful analytics dashboards along the way. In addition, received funds are automatically staked, which results in less time wasted and higher efficiency — a sentiment that is of high importance to both Ontology and Citadel.one.
In regards to the announcement, Ontology Co-founder Andy Ji said, “It is with great excitement that we announce the addition of Citadel.one to our network. Citadel.one is a remarkable Proof-of-Stake platform with whom we are delighted to partner with in pursuit of our shared ambition of building the decentralized infrastructure of the world. Their innovative platform brings forward a new way of efficiently storing wealth, among much more, and we are delighted to be collaborating with their talented team on this highly worthwhile effort.”
