As previously announced, Hathor Labs is rapidly expanding in 2020 with additions to our development and marketing teams.
Following our series of making a more in-depth introduction about our core team members, Hathor Network is pleased to present André Abadesso, our new developer, and the key player responsible for working on innovative use-cases to enterprise solutions.
Native from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), André Abadesso is a seasoned developer and entrepreneur.
With more than 11 solid years of experience in software development and project management in the public and private sectors, André has been researching and developing blockchain applications since 2016, together with other technologies such as Smart Cities, IoT, and Virtual Reality.
He also co-founded Myio — an IoT Hardware startup — in 2016, where he served as the CTO until joining Hathor Network. Previously he also co-founded 21blocks, a blockchain innovation lab that offered consultancy and software development for large companies in Brazil and South America as a whole.
André brings to Hathor Labs his experience in working with enterprises whose challenges are implementing blockchain solutions to create real-world use cases and will initially focus on improving Hathor Network´s simple usability.
As a full-stack senior developer, André is committed to support the onboarding of new use cases, enhance our full node performance, and start developing new features on top of our core network.

Hathor Network is a PoW-based novel distributed ledger architecture using both DAG and blockchain data structures intertwined. Built having in mind scalability, usability, and decentralization, our network uses the unique design of the HTR token to solve significant bottlenecks preventing the broad adoption of the technology.
Our first product is a scalable tokenization platform where users from any background can easily create and manage their custom tokens in less than a minute, directly from our mobile or desktop wallets.
For 2021, our roadmap includes the implementation of Nano Contracts, which will bring a bulletproof and radically accessible version of smart contracts that allow users to deploy dApps to our network in only a few clicks.
Hathor Network has been in mainnet since January 2020, experiencing exponential growth in the number of custom tokens, active wallets, and mining hashrate.
