Following our Introduction to our core team members, Hathor Network is pleased to profile Natan Camargos, our new Front End developer and the one responsible for our wallet and explorer development.
Natan is a developer with a bachelor’s in Software Engineering from the University of Ceará with a strong background in Front End Development. With over eight years of experience, he has always created memorable user experiences where he has previously worked for several Brazilian financial institutions, such as XP Investimentos.
He is also the co-creator of Mint (“https://mint.bitcoin.com”), a Bitcoin Cash wallet focused on token management. Mint is a one-stop product to manage tokens and make payments through the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, initially developed during a hackathon and later incorporated at Bitcoin.com.
He has recently shifted his efforts to develop DeFi products and bridging blockchain technologies with finance 1.0. Some of these projects include POCS using Bitcoin scripts and Bitcoin Cash scripts with price oracles to create new protocols to mimic finance 1.0 protocols in a decentralized manner.
Natan joins Hathor Network to focus on wallet/explorer improvements and maintenance initially.
His roadmap includes discussing and developing new features, including airdrops and dividend payments for the wallets and token statistics for the explorer.
He will also assist the development of Nano Contracts in bringing DeFi protocols to the Hathor Network. He is convinced that the Hathor Network’s technology advantages will allow a new horizon of DeFi products on our chain.
You can find more information about Natan on his LinkedIn profile here https://www.linkedin.com/in/natan-camargos-7b8153122/
Hathor Network is a PoW-based novel distributed ledger architecture using both DAG and blockchain data structures intertwined. Built having in mind scalability, usability, and decentralization, our network uses the unique design of the HTR token to solve significant bottlenecks preventing the broad adoption of the technology.
Hathor Network has been in mainnet since January 2020, experiencing exponential growth in the number of custom tokens, active wallets, and mining hashrate.
