Today, we are excited to announce a new strategic partnership with Cere, a Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC) platform for the Polkadot network. We are joining the SaaS-DeFi alliance, initiated by Cere Network to improve the DeFi landscape and to make it suitable for enterprises.
Ankr infrastructure solutions for Cere Network
Ideally, community members and company clients of any blockchain project run hundreds (or thousands) nodes of their favorite blockchain to contribute to the decentralization of the network to earn rewards by staking their tokens.
But in reality, decentralization is still far away for most projects, and often the majority of nodes are hosted by the company itself. This brings a few significant drawbacks, such as high cloud expenses for the projects and exposing the network to a single point of failure.
Our node hosting solutions will help Cere taking a big step towards decentralization of the network.
The SaaS-DeFI alliance
As part of this partnership, Ankr joins Cere’s SaaS-DeFi alliance that aims to establish universal protocol standards for the enterprise DeFi space and improve communications between the enterprises and the DeFi ecosystem, and to prevent crises in the future.
But there is more…
In addition to the technical collaboration between the two project teams, there will also be some interesting advantages for Ankr community members who are looking to contribute to the Cere project 👀 👀
About Cere Network
Cere Network is the first Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC) platform in alignment with Polkadot, optimized for service data integration and data collaboration.
While most enterprise blockchains are simply distributed ledgers, the Cere DDC platform is built from the ground up to power the new generation of first-party customer data ecosystems.
Harnessing similar goals to cloud platforms like Snowflake, Cere’s DDC platform is delivering on a new decentralized level of data privacy, data agility, and data interoperability.
Cere Network is founded by former executives from Amazon, Twitch, D-Link, and Bebo. Cere is backed by Binance Labs, Arrington XRP Capital, Fenbushi Capital and Neo Global Capital, amongst others. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in New York and Berlin.
