As we previously announced, the DAO is going to launch on Feb 4th during our Project Call №10.
Before then, we want you all to be prepared, so we set up various BarnBridge Docs on a separate subdomain with all recent information on the BarnBridge DAO, our upcoming products, FAQ, and links to our resources. It’s available here: https://docs.barnbridge.com.
Here’s the list of the BarnBridge DAO How-To Guides that cover the main functionality and give an understanding of how to use it:
101: How to get $BOND tokens?
102. How to obtain voting power on the DAO?
103. How to lock $BOND to increase voting power?
104. How to delegate voting power (vBOND)?
105. How to return delegated voting power (vBOND)?
106. How to withdraw $BOND from the DAO?
107. How to create a proposal?
This BarnBridge Docs resource will be the only source of truth when it comes to official documentation going forward. We will be continuously updating, expanding, and adding new resources to it as we move further on our product roadmap.
There are a few additional things that we would like to clarify. Since we have been running a variety of initiatives up to this point, the current token distribution needs to be revisited as it has changed slightly.
Since the last update — we added smart yield and smart alpha LP rewards into LP rewards (at least we provided clarification). We also added runway usage (which includes any OTC deals to fund ongoing runway to the multi-sig).
Next, we added the Pool Together rewards for their staking pools and the community airdrop into the multi-sig (albeit some of this has already been distributed so it shows as a straight line on the weekly distribution curve).
We also included the DAO staking rewards & included Pool 3 as we sunset pool 3 and it converts to DAO staking. As we previously communicated to the community, some of the original Community Reserve was allocated to the DAO Staking rewards.
Finally, we clarified the amount left for community reserve & the treasury.
Nothing about the seed investor allocation, advisor allocation, or team allocation has changed from when we launched the LaunchDAO and transition to the BarnBridge DAO.
All the $BOND tokens from the LaunchDAO will be transferred over to the BarnBridge DAO as soon as it’s live.
