In addition, the first Sprint series event will take place at Silverstone on Saturday, July 17, 2021. This marks Crypto.com’s debut as an inaugural partner ahead of the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2021.

Meanwhile, co-founder and CEO of Crypto.com, Kris Marszalek, says that the brand is very proud to be the first cryptocurrency sponsor of Formula 1. He adds that they are looking forward to many years of innovating together. Lastly, F1 plans to reach Net Zero Carbon as a sport by 2030. Hence, their partnership with Crypto.com works better since the platform also aims to become carbon negative within 18 months. Specifically, it took the pledge in May 2021 and is working to offer the industry a path for ‘clean crypto’.
