9. BNB is a security the same as ETH. The ETH presale ICO accepted BTC, didn't do KYC, etc, too. ETH is still, after ~5 years mining, ~70% in the hands of the devs/"foundation"/ICO investors. The ETH people were just smart about it and let JP Morgan, etc in at the ground floor. If you let the regulators (we have a revolving door between the SEC and institutions here in the US) buy for pennies on the thousand dollars you're "sufficiently decentralized." Gotta make sure you pay your bribes if you want to do business unmolested.

    Native BNB stored on BSC and wBNB are not the same thing.
    You may own BNB, swap it for other tokens, and yet own no wBNB.
    Same goes with ETH and wETH on Ethereum chain: there are only 524,844 wETH holders at the moment of writing, yet ETH is reported to have almost 200 million wallets.
