  1. Must admit I don't really understand why borrowing £45b for tax cuts caused massive panic but the market barely blinked at £200b for energy fixes and at least £100b+ for Covid measures including furlough.

  2. I am french and wish the best for UK : rivalries could be fun for some people regarding sports competition (maybe ) but this is serious concern . European countries have long time ties , we are all brothers and sisters in the same boat.

  3. You are wrong about this being about recent policy… the issues we see today were baked into the economy over the past years due to QE etc… it has to hit the fan sometime… I'd rather get it done and over with.

The budget was half fantastic – lancing a boil of over taxation – but the other half is to slash government/public-sector spending.

Defined benefits pension schemes are disgusting – they can only exist by stealing from the future, they have died out in most areas, only the disgusting public sector are in a position to extort these from the wealth creators (all in the private sector).

Scrap 'pensions' as a 'thing' – entirely let people save/invest (or not) for their own old age and (like *adults*) accept the consequences of their own choices.

  4. When you look at it from the perspective that the government is actively trying to ruin the economy, they are doing a fantastic job!!! It's all part of the WEF plan!!!

  5. Brilliant, brilliant Guy! This was broadcast diamond. Packed full of info, insight and clarity for ease of understanding. As someone who was 'watching' the BOE drama unfold live on BBC radio 5 live, your video has really explained the wider implications! Thank you so much 🙏🏾

  6. This question is from an American that have no idea how British government works. Don't your Parliament have to vote and approve the budget, or does the Treasury secretary just get to make a budget?

  7. man you are about that doom and gloom life. Maybe make an upbeat vidoe or two every once in awhile we all know how bad it is out there at this point butg some positivity here and there would be great as well just saying…

  8. Brexit made England stand alone from the world. they planned Brexit when the queen really died but they put off the unraveling of the pound until now .It was bound to happen .no surprise to any one but the Brits themselves who happen to live in lala land .
