Please briefly introduce yourself.
My name is Daniel Hwang. I am one of the founding organizers of HanDAO who was last the Head of Protocols at stakefish and special projects lead at F2Pool. I am the co-founder of the Validator working group, The Validator Commons; the co-founder of the climate crypto working group, Blockchain Infrastructure Carbon Offset Working Group, BICOWG. I am also the co-founder of Korea’s first DAO, HanDAO, a Korean artist collective that supports the Korean creator community with education, financial support, and ecosystem building in NFTs and the Metaverse. I started my journey into the cryptocurrency and blockchain space as a cryptocurrency miner in 2013. I have since supported cryptocurrency based remittances in south east asia, permissioned blockchain efforts in pharmaceutical supply chain applications, lead the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) working group on health data on blockchain, worked on localized decentralized exchanges in the asia region through 0x Protocol, done deep dives on cryptography and distributed systems research as related to blockchains in my graduate program at Johns Hopkins University, lead ecosystem development at layer 1 blockchains, and have extensively supported the NFT and metaverse space for creators.

Please tell us more about the company / how you found out about The Sandbox?
HanDAO is a Korean artist collective that supports the Korean creator community with education, financial support, and ecosystem building in NFTs and the Metaverse. I have known Sebastien for quite some time and was excited to see how the Metaverse could be applied to a broader category of applications including with the infrastructure side of the industry (when I was working at stakefish a large validator) and the cultural DAO side of the industry with HanDAO. What you are planning to show on your LAND. What kind of experience users may expect?
HanDAO will be supporting the Korean creator community on The Sandbox! With its establishment on the K-verse, HanDAO’s metaverse expansion will include the launch of an NFT gallery for Korean creators of all kinds. HanDAO’s support of all creators will help promote The Sandbox metaverse for the Korean crypto and creator community. It will leverage its partners, IPs, brands, and projects on the K-verse Koreatown estate. HanDAO will also host educational initiatives and social events to celebrate this new exploration into the metaverse!

How do you want your neighbors (your LAND and its surroundings) to develop in the future?
It would be quite interesting to see different types of Korean cultural LAND experiences be developed in neighboring plots. Specifically Korean cultural, artistic, and geography specific plots!
What is the most exciting thing about this LAND sale?
This is a great way for more Korean participants to explore their creativity in developing together!
